Our lesson tuition is based on an annual total of 46 lessons per year broken into equal monthly payments so your billing stays predictable each month.

Invoices are generated on the first of each month and automatically charged to the card on file. We recommend adding your bank account to avoid credit card processing fees.

Tuition is billed month-to-month and continues until we receive a cancellation request in writing by the deadline (see details below)

A late fee of $15 will be added if payment isn’t received by the 7th of each month.

Tuition & Payment Terms

A one-time registration fee of $97 is due when you sign up. This secures your spot and instructor.

If a family needs to miss a lesson, notify the instructor at least 24 hours ahead to be eligible for a make-up lesson (subject to instructor availability).

Each student is eligible for one make-up credit per month when the cancellation meets the notice requirement.

Make-up lessons must be used within 30 days of the missed lesson.

We do not issue refunds for lessons canceled by the student — credits are provided through scheduled make-ups only.

Cancellation For Inclement Weather/ Instructor Cancellation

If your instructor must cancel a lesson, you will receive a makeup within 30 days.

For weather or unexpected conditions, confirm with your instructor through our online portal whether the lesson will proceed or be rescheduled.

Lesson Cancellations & Make-Ups

  • To discontinue lessons, families must submit a written cancellation request 14 days in advance to avoid being charged for the following month.

  • Requests submitted after that deadline will result in billing for the next month.

Ending or Pausing Lessons

  • For students under 18, an adult (parent, guardian, or authorized family member) must be present at home during the lesson.

  • If an appropriate adult is not present, the lesson will be treated as a same-day cancellation.

Minor Supervision Policy

Thank you for understanding that our policies are in place to support our instructors and the work they do. Your cooperation helps us take great care of the teachers who care for your students.

Grace Haven Music School follows a planned calendar that includes holiday and seasonal breaks. Lessons will not take place during these closures, and tuition will not be adjusted or credited. These breaks are factored into our yearly lesson schedule.

Scheduled Breaks & Holiday Closures

  • To keep up with the cost of inflation, there will be a modest tuition increase of 3% annually beginning in January.
